Founded in 2005, Rose of Sharon Academy (RSA) is a leading Christian private school in Nairobi offering both the Kenya Competency-Based Education (CBE) and the Cambridge International Curriculum. Located in Nairobi, RSA provides a nurturing, future-focused learning environment where children develop academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

For more than two decades, we have been committed to raising confident learners, principled leaders, and globally competitive citizens through exceptional teaching, differentiated learning, and holistic education. The Story Behind Our Name

Our name is inspired by Song of Solomon 2:1:
"I am the Rose of Sharon, and the Lily of the Valleys."

This scripture reflects our belief that every child is uniquely created with purpose and limitless potential. At Rose of Sharon Academy, we nurture learners to grow in faith, wisdom, integrity, compassion, and excellence while developing into responsible global citizens.

Our Journey

Rose of Sharon Academy officially opened its doors on 5th January 2005 with just 14 learners in Kindergarten and Primary School. Built on faith, excellence, and a passion for transforming lives through education, the school has grown into a thriving learning community.

Today, RSA is recognized for academic excellence, character development, innovation, and a supportive learning environment that prepares learners for success both locally and internationally.

Competency Based Education (CBE)

Our CBE pathway develops practical competencies while building strong literacy, numeracy, communication, collaboration, creativity, digital literacy, and leadership skills.
